“KARKANIAS ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY” S.A. signed contract for Design and construction of wastewater treatment plant in municipality of Danilovgrad, Montenegro
On 4t December, Mr Georgios Karkanias, President of KARKANIAS S.A. signed contract for design and construction of Wastewater treatment plant of municipality of Danilovgrad. The contract includes design of plant for 6.000 PE capacity, construction, trial and operation in total duration of 35 months.
At the press conference that was organized for that occasion, Mayor of municipality of Danilovgrad, Mrs Kovacevic, expressed satisfaction that cooperation with company KARKANIAS is established, pointing out that municipality has full trust that this project will be implemented successfully and that municipality is partner of the company in this process. State secretary at Montenegrian Ministry of sustainable development and tourism, Mr Martinovic, stated that environmental projects have huge importance for the state of Montenegro and that he hopes this project will contribute to environmental protection improvement according to newest EU standards.
Mr Karkanias thanked to new partners of the company, saying that KARKANIAS Environmental Technology has the experience, know-how and willingness to help Danilovgrad and Montenegro implement this and many similar projects in order to improve waste management and infrastructure in area of environment protection.
This contract is yet another confirmation of international recognition of KARKANIAS S.A. and important role that our company has in field of environmental protection projects.
